Thermal imagery checks the whole irrigation system: leaks and clogged emitters show up as temperature patches that do not match the rest. And it shows much more: the variability of the orchard and damaged trees — for example, by the Capnodis rootborer in almond.

The flow meter installed at the end of each sector’s line records the actual volume applied in every irrigation. SAQIA compares it with what was scheduled and alerts you when the numbers don’t add up. A leak, a clog or a failing valve no longer goes unnoticed until the end of the season.
Out-of-range pressures give away clogging, breaks or hydraulic design problems. With flow and pressure together you can tell a clogged dripline from an upstream leak — and act before it costs you harvest.
When the season closes you have the actual water applied, sector by sector and irrigation by irrigation. Not what you scheduled: what actually reached the crop.
